Not in Texas? I was disappointed to read that the very successful Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban confirmed they have stopped playing the national anthem at their home games—and don’t plan to play it in the future.

Just a short time ago, who would have believed that the national anthem, of all things, could become a point of contention in our country?

We should be so thankful for the tremendous freedoms and opportunities God has blessed us with in America. I certainly hope that Mr. Cuban will reconsider and not cave in to the cancel culture we find ourselves living in. Franklin Graham

The Dallas Mavericks have taken a stance against the playing of the national anthem.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban confirmed to The Athletic that it was his decision to no longer play the national anthem prior to home games at American Airlines Center.
